Austin Tax died On 12 September 2021 peacefully in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida the tender care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Cork University Hospital and in the presence of his heart-broken family, Mossie, beloved husband of Ella and loving father of Sheila , Anna and Vera.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife and family, sisters Kathleen, Nora and the late Bridie, daughter-in-law Ber, sons-in-law Aidan, Steve and Declan, his sixteen adored grandchildren Niamh, Shannon, Ciara, Patrick, , Liam, Adrian, Gearóid, Shane, Kelly-Ann, Fachtna, Jack, Elise, and Evan, sisters-in-law, niece, nephew, relatives, kind neighbors and his many dear friends.
